The Constitutional Court (MK), through MK Decision Number 137/PUU-XIII/2015, annulled the rules on the authority of the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) to cancel local government regulations (Perdas).

The judicial review of Law No. 23/2014 on the authority of the Mendagri to revoke Perda was submitted by the Association of District Governments of Indonesia (Apkasi) and friends in 2015.
